Joyeux Noel mit Alix!

Guess who came to visit me?! Mon cousin! And how better to welcome him here in this season than to go on a walking tour through the Altstadt and visit some of the different Christkindlmaerkte to eat local food and drink hot mulled wine! We started off at Sendlinger Tor and ate some kaesekrainer and curry wurst, making our way up Sendlingerstr. to Rindermarkt where we had some schupnudeln, and then heading to Marienplatz where we had some gluehwein. Mmmmm, lecker. 

Eventually we made it to Wittelsbacherplatz for some Feurzangenbowle. 

Alix declared it his favourite!

During this time, Pooey was actually messaging me telling me things I had to make Alix eat, things that she loved to eat whenever she visits. 

And so here is Alix enjoying some dampfnudel mit kirsche!

He realy enjoyed the food, but not so much the weather. Despite coming from France, he declared that he'd never been so cold in his life as he'd been in Munich!
