i think sean penn is not half bad...i particularly liked him in the game and the one where he plays that brilliant guitarist...
i actually had no idea him and robin wright penn had broken up though...
she could do A LOTTTTT worse.
plus, she seems to dig intellectual types...i'm pretty sure sean penn has some good convo up his sleeve.

Yeah the rumour about them at Cannes was all over the place - think he and Robin were seperated - but then they got back together so I thought all it was was a rumour... but obviously not.
Admittedly the coupling is unexpected but I can see the whole cerebral/serious actor connection. Definitely not a TomKat thing.
i give sean penn credit that he can probably hold a decent intellectual conversation... but there is something creepy about him.. ew..

i mean...MOBY for crying out loud! Whilst I think he is technically brilliant, in my eyes Moby is very unattractive. Plus he has no political interests beyond being pro-vegan.
Natalie Portman is very intelligent and a young man with no intelligence does not befit her. Sean Penn at least has some political passions (wasn't he on a small leaky vessel trying to help people during hurricane Katrina). For a certain type of woman, a man like that is very attractive. She's done the pretty boy thing, but clearly, for women, looks are not everything. Plus just imagine how many acting secrets she is going to milk out of it.
If you ask me Natalie Portman is a smooth operator.

I hate to say it but the photo that you chose of Sean Penn is his most flattering yet. He actually has kind of a distinguished rogueish Irish Charm in this photo.
