Patting other people's dogs is generally not acceptable on the u-bahn and probably Germany in general (at least, I never see other people doing it), but when this fluffster sat next to me, I couldn't help letting out a squee and telling his owner that he was beautiful and could I take a photo! She allowed me and then I rubbed his ears for good measure. I love collies :D.
