Well my return to the lab went off with a burst of excitement! I had to collect the eyes of two rats....but man, I felt so out of practice! As much as I prefer to use the dissecting microscope because you can see what you're doing more clearly, it showed up how shaky my hands are and how badly I was dissecting the eyes :( Overall, it went off without too much of a hitch which leads me to where I am now.
Now I'm just sitting at my desk, reading the online newspaper rather than doing any journal reading. *sigh* Lets hope I pick up in the rest of the week, esp since I no longer have to wake up to watch the World Cup. THAT WAS NOT A PENALTY!!!!
