What does the above photo depict? Let's break it down into its components.The picture depicts an alley in which a crowd of somewhat fashionably dressed young people seem to be congregating/queueing up outside a door. The alley is very dingy - the windows have bars and there is visible graffiti. It's nighttime and there is a deal of fluorescent lighting. A logical thought would be that this is an exclusive nightclub at 11pm.

This was the dinner queue at 8pm outside a famous (infamous?) dumpling shop in the city. It's become so popular that people were queueing up to get in. When Lydia, Jenny, Ernie and I turned into the alley and found this queue, we all remarked that it looked like the queue at a club, so I naturally had to take a photo.
