Aperitivo del Lunedi

For the last few weeks, Emi has been inviting me to an event called "Aperitivo del Lunedi." For those who don't speak Italian, it translates as Monday aperitif - an Italian restaurant in Munich, Sarfati, would have a buffet specialising in a different Italian speciality each week. I find Mondays a bad day in general to go out for dinner, and would invariably refuse. However, this past week I found that they offered me a speciality I could not refuse. It was lasagne time. Bam. I was in.

In addition to the lasagne, there was an antipasti buffet consisting of different salads, bruschetta, salami, vitello tonnato and I can't remember what else. It is a credit to how delicious it was that I was unable to take any photos of what antipasti I ate because it was so delicious. And I went back THREE times. Each time I was too busy eating. Booyah.
We received different' types of lasagne as well. Here I have a photograph of the classic bolognese/meat lasagne. There was also a pesto with salmon, and spinach and cheese varieties. They did not survive to photography.

Every time my plate looked like this, I would start getting antsy as to when the next helping of lasagne would be dished out to me.

Being a sommelier, Emi picked out some nice wines for us to drink. This was the last one of the night, a moscato that we had for dessert. Yum as.

Summary of the night - I messaged Riccardito to tell him about this place and I will check it out again with another native to confirm my suspicions that this is a good place to eat out.
